Sales Executive

The main purpose of the role is to be an independent sales executive who is solely responsible for researching, sourcing, approaching and securing new business across various industry sectors. The role requires action, perseverance, loyalty and honestly. 

In return you join an experienced, hardworking technical team that is customer and delivery focussed. 


  • Set and achieve monthly sales targets
  • Weekly and monthly reporting
  • Generate and close self-sourced deals
  • Follow up on all leads received internally
  • Hosting demonstrations
  • Create weekly LinkedIn / Social media content for internal marketing team
  • Secure and conduct client meetings
  • Create solid and long-standing relationships with clients
  • Maintain all sales related administrative duties
  • Understand a product’s context and technical parameters and capabilities required to meet the stakeholder needs.
  • Lead regular meetings with important stakeholders and customers to keep track of project progress and receive feedback from customers on the implementation.
  • Maintain a good ongoing relationship with external stakeholders to ensure they are successful and trust the company as a solutions partner.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other teams for engineering tasks and developments that are needed.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years’ sales experience, with proven track record in sales of a technical product to customers in the security or facility management sector
  • Knowledge of intruder detection and CCTV systems equipment is advantageous
  • Matric or tertiary preferred
  • South African citizen
  • Clear criminal record
  • Own reliable car and driver’s licence
  • Ability to speak English and Afrikaans fluently
  • Strong computer skills – MS Office, Email & Internet
